Cllr Furey’s motion to overturn RBC’s recently adopted anto-Heathrow expansion overturned: 21 against, 11 for, 3 abstentions. Cllrs Taylor, Kusneraitis, Prescott and Meares spoke against. Thanks for support from the small but noisy crowd in the public gallery. This is a fantastic and unexpectedly resounding result for those who have worked endlessly to stop increased noise over EG and the surrounding areas.
