Thanks to everyone who gathered on Englefield Green at 7.30am to demonstrate against Heathrow expansion and the proposed additional 700 planes that will fly in and out of Heathrow every day should a 3rd runway go ahead.

We need help!!
So many jobs gone! We need to help Heathrow (HAL) to build back better.
That means amongst other things, pressing for reskilling and training programmes for local residents in sustainable employment.
The skies are so much quieter now and residents can again enjoy the benefits of living in this lovely area.
Over the past 7 years EGAG has represented Englefield Green residents and other local communities on the various HAL consultation committees and working parties – we have funded this mainly by our own means. We have kept your local politicians updated on our responses to the many Government and statutory body enquiries in our attempt to ensure we get a fair deal on noise and pollution reductions.
This temporary lull in aircraft activity is now our opportunity to press for changes for residents before the aviation sector returns to pre Covid pandemic levels in an unregulated way.
Please help us to support you by donating what you can to assist us to pay for expert inputs on the highly complex issues particularly of noise measures, air pollution and on the potential dangers of concentrated flight paths over our village in the coming 5 years.
To donate please see below:
The Englefield Green Action Group (EGAG) support an active and vibrant Heathrow but one that works in a balanced way with residents to minimise air and noise pollution and finds ways to improve the lot of those overflown or affected by the aviation sector. Please contact us if you wish to join our group. You would be most welcomed.
